I am a data science doctoral student in the UChicago Knowledge Lab working with James A. Evans. 

I study the drivers of innovation and discovery — how new ideas emerge and spread, how socio-technical institutions shape collective evaluation and exploration, and how to better govern science and technology advancements. I use and develop toolkits spanning networks, simulation models, AI, and causal inference. I am particularly interested in how generative AI automates discoveries, the evaluation of ideas, and social scientific methodologies. My papers appear in leading peer-reviewed journals across general science, network science, and social sciences, including Nature Communications, as well as in top interdisciplinary computing conferences including WWW/TheWebConf.

I have backgrounds in mathematics, computer science, social science, and evolutionary biology. Before Chicago I graduated from Michigan State and was a research associate at Harvard Business School.
